Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
The Emergency Nursing Association (ENA) developed a 2-day intensive Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) to establish a standardised body of trauma nursing knowledge to improve the care of all trauma patients. This course combines interactive learning with scenario-based assessments derived from evidence-based content and best practice standards.
Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS)
Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) was developed by NAEMT in cooperation with the American College of Surgeons’ Committee on Trauma and is recognised around the world as the leading medical continuing education program for prehospital emergency trauma care. The mission of PHTLS is to promote excellence in trauma patient management and improve the quality of trauma care and decrease mortality. PHTLS is the global gold standard in prehospital trauma education taught in 64 countries and targeted for EMTs, paramedics, nurses, physician assistants, physicians, and other prehospital providers.
